The Career Center contributes to the University's mission by helping students establish fulfilling careers, contribute to society, and adapt to the increasing complexity of life and work in the 21st century.The Career Center is the primary campus resource for students and alumni seeking career direction and full- and part-time employment. It provides comprehensive services and information resources for career decisions and job searches, helps students identify their work-related strengths and interests, prepares students for finding suitable employment, and fosters relationships with the employer community.

The Counseling Center provides psychological services for the currently enrolled student through walk-in crisis intervention, telephone crisis counseling, on-going one-on-one counseling, a variety of support and personal development groups, and professional consultation with other campus departments. Staff also teach academic courses and provide consultation to sororities, fraternities, residence halls, student unions, and faculty. The testing office provides assessment of student placement and academic progress by administration and interpretation of subject tests, entrance exams, psychological profiles, career assessments, and national testing programs (MCAT, CBEST, GRE, SAT, LSAT, PRAXIS).
The Office of the Dean of Students plays a vital role in enriching and maintaining a positive campus community and services as a point of contact within the University for students, staff, faculty and student’s family members in times of crisis. The DOS office provides support for a variety of student concerns, including illness, death in the family, academic difficulty, and other personal emergencies. In cooperation with various other student service units, the DOS office will meet students on a one-on-one basis to provide assistance and advocacy and strive to reach helpful, satisfactory solutions to student concerns.
The EMU provides a combination of programs, services and facilities that enrich the educational, cultural and recreational opportunities in the university community and help make students' extracurricular activities an integral part of their education. The building provides group-meeting rooms, a variety of food service options (everything from fresh-baked breads and homemade soups, to pizza, pasta, vegan cuisine, authentic ethnic foods, sandwiches and salads…and, of course, coffee), lounges, a pool hall and arcade, and a staff of program consultants to help groups and individuals plan programs. The student government and more than 150 diverse student groups call the EMU home.

The primary mission of the University Health Center is to enhance the educational process by minimizing health-related barriers to personal development and learning, by providing a variety of medical and health care services for currently enrolled UO students who have paid student fees. These services are provided by a highly qualified staff that includes physicians, a dentist, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, laboratory and x-ray technicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, pharmacists, dental hygienists, health educators, and support employees.
University Housing is both an educational and a business enterprise of the University of Oregon. The role of University Housing is to support the academic mission of the University through the provision of residence hall and family student housing and related services. University Housing operates two types of student housing: residence hall housing, and family student housing intended primarily for student families and non-traditional students. University Housing is also responsible for dining services, campus-wide catering, and other food operations, camp and conference housing, as well as managing the budgets and facilities of these operations, and related support services.
Physical Education and Recreation provides opportunities that enhance the quality of life for all students through a state-of-the-art recreation center, physical activity programs, and non-instructional recreation activities that focus on health and fitness, outdoor pursuits, aquatics, sports, structured intramurals and open recreation. The Student Recreaction Center offers a selection of activities and recreational equipment, including a comprehensive weight room, a fully equipped cardiovascular fitness center, two swimming pools, a rock climbing wall, an indoor track, full court-basketball, volleyball, and an enclosed field for soccer or Frisbee.

Its student services center offers a network of resource and referral services in crisis situations.
