Alliance for Sexual Assault Prevention

The Alliance for Sexual Assault Prevention (ASAP) is comprised of campus and community leaders who are focused on a comprehensive approach in addressing issues of sexual violence on the University of Oregon campus. The alliance works to educate the campus community about issues of rape and sexual assault, and develops education and prevention strategies to broaden awareness and decrease incidence of unwanted sexual behavior.

Associated Students President’s Advisory Committee (ASPAC)

ASPAC provides an opportunity for the University President and other members of the central administration to meet and talk with student leaders representing a broad base of interests and constituencies. Discussion items typically range widely on topics of concern to individual ASPAC members or the student constituencies, issues affecting the quality of student life on campus, or matters more broadly impacting the welfare of the university.

Bias Response Team

The Bias Response Team (BRT) exists for the purpose of improving the campus climate by responding immediately to all parties involved in bias-related incidents, setting clear university response to bias-related incidents, and supporting preventive educational programming.

Campus/Community Relations Task Force (CCRTF)

CCRTF meets once a term and brings together members of the campus community and the residential community. It increases communication to break down stereotypes, helps manage party atmospheres, educates student about rights and responsibilities to neighbors and groups, and improves campus climate.

Dean’s Consultation Committee

The Dean’s Consultation Committee convenes to advise the Dean of Students and other faculty and administrators involved in the management of a student’s emotional or behavioral state if it becomes dangerous or is disruptive to the academic or living environment.

Debriefing Group

The Student Affairs Debriefing Group convenes weekly to during the academic year to review incidents and anticipate campus events requiring response by administrative units.

Student Affairs Council

The Student Affairs Council creates a forum for structured relationships with various student services and program offices to insure high levels of collaboration and cooperation between the leadership of member units. The Student Affairs Council brings greater focus, through effective communication, to issues of importance to the students, and to the staff and faculty responsible for student welfare, student development, and student experiences.
